Central Ohio SCI Youth Initiative Campaign
The Central Ohio Chapter of Safari Club International (SCI) Officers and Board of Directors is committed to inspiring the next generation of conservationists through ethical hunting and outdoor education. Our Youth Initiative Campaign is designed to connect Ohio youth with nature, wildlife stewardship, and the traditions of responsible hunting.
Support the Next Generation of Hunters! If you’re passionate about preserving the tradition of hunting and mentoring young outdoorsmen and women, consider becoming a Youth Hunt Benefactor. Our Chapter is proudly accepting $100 donations from individuals who want to champion the future of hunting.
Your generous contribution will help provide gear, guidance, and unforgettable experiences for youth hunters eager to learn and grow in the field. Let’s pass on the legacy—one hunt at a time.
Central Ohio SCI is excited to welcome young outdoorsmen and women to our annual Youth Pheasant Hunt on January 17, 2026 in Bellefontaine. This free, fully hosted event gives youth ages 10–20 an opportunity to learn firearm safety, experience a guided upland hunt, enjoy lunch, and take home blaze-orange gear.
With just 24 spots available, this hunt fills quickly. No experience or equipment needed—our chapter provides loaner shotguns and adult sponsors for those who need them.

Safari Club International (SCI) is a nonprofit organization that has been advocating for hunting rights and promoting wildlife conservation worldwide for over 50 years. The Central Ohio Chapter of SCI represents over 300 local hunters and sportsmen who share the same passion for hunting and wildlife conservation.

Dear Friends,
Best wishes to everyone with our new year. I hope everyone had wonderful holidays and are looking forward to a prosperous 2025. Your Board has been working hard on the 2025 Sportsman's banquet, laying the groundwork for the next banquet on March 14th 2026, and are looking forward to seeing new & old friends there. We have a wonderful evening planned and appreciate everyone who attends. With your support, the chapter has continued to thrive and support many charities. It’s because of you, our support of conservation and hunting will continue, for that we can’t thank you enough. Thank you to all and we look forward to seeing you at the banquet.
