20th Annual Sportsman's Banquet...A
BIG SUCCESS!
I would like to personally thank the dedicated Board & Banquet Committee
members and the many volunteers who made our recent banquet another HUGE
success. Ten months of intensive planning and hard work certainly came
together to make our March 19th banquet one of the best in our Chapter’s
20 year history.
I’d also like to thank
the 483 members and guests who had the opportunity to meet and chat with
a number of quality outfitters/vendors, bid on over 200 unique Live and
Silent Auction items/hunts, 30 guns and 124 quality raffle items.
There have been so many
favorable comments about this year’s banquet; I just had to extend my
sincere appreciation. Your interest in preserving our great sporting
heritage is exemplified by your support and generosity which has made
the Central Ohio one of the leading SCI Chapters in the United States.
And now,, we’re back to
planning for what will hopefully be an even better banquet, which is
scheduled for March 31, 2012, at the Hilton Columbus/Polaris. Our Board
members have visited this new facility and think you’ll be as impressed
with it as they are.
